Formula Um is back! But with some very important changes for the 2026 season...
What's different?

Formula Um will now follow the F1 calendar exactly.
There will be 24 events across the entire season, each one on the track F1 races on that weekend.
Weekend Schedule
There will be no longer be a sprint race on Saturday. Practice sessions on Friday and Saturday have also been lengthened to 1 hour and the practice session on Sunday has been shortened to 30 minutes. Qualifying and Race durations will remain the same. Check out the new weekend schedule below!
Friday ๐ฐ
Practice 1: 20:00 GMT for 1 hour
Saturday ๐ฐ
Practice 2: 15:00 GMT for 1 hour

(Best 18 results count)
How the league works!

What is paddle wear? ๐ฃ๏ธ
Paddle wear is a mechanic where your paddles degrade over time, meaning that you will drive slower and therefore your lap times will increase โฑ๏ธ
You can equip new paddles by entering the pit lane. Using your hotbar, you will be able to select between the 5 sets of paddles. Your paddle will be set when you exit the pit lane. ๐ญ
There is no minimum number of pits, but you will want to pit onto fresh paddles to keep your lap times low.
During the feature race, you will not be able to pit onto the same paddle type that you are already on. (for example, you can't pit from S --> S)
There are no limits to the number of pits you can go for too.
The performance of each paddle is not given out. Instead, you and your team need to figure out how effective each paddle is during practice sessions, so that you can craft the best strategy for a race.
The track also will not open outside of the event. You can only practice during the 3 practice sessions.
For Dry Conditions โ๏ธ
๐ด Soft - Degrades the fastest but has the most grip
๐ก Medium - Somewhere in the middle.
โช Hard - This degrades the slowest but has the least grip. For Wet Conditions ๐ง
๐ข Intermediate - Suitable for damp track conditions
๐ต Wet - Suitable for very wet track conditions
Weather??? ๐ฆ๏ธ
Some weekends may be hit by rain. When tracks accumulate water, driving them completely changes.
A weather forecast is provided on the day of the event. This is just accurate enough to give you an idea of how the track water will be, but you'll need to account for inaccuracies. Drivers will need to consider swapping between dry and wet paddles during a session if the weather conditions change.
Anyways, the opening race will be on Australia! See you this weekend ๐
(remember to make your teams as well)
